Contact Information System
CRL has implemented the Contact Information System (CIS) to enhance services and communications with member institutions by:
- Allowing us to provide relevant information to individuals at CRL libraries while minimizing duplicate or extraneous messages
- Helping us understand and keep track of the roles those key contacts play at their libraries
- Enabling CRL libraries to designate representatives and contacts for various CRL functions and activities, such as ILL, voting on CRL purchases, participation in CRL webinars, etc.
The Contact Information System gathers data from multiple sources, including data input by key contact users from member institutions, and CRL event registrations.
- CIS enables one institution login for each CRL library.
- An institution login is the email address of the director of the CRL member library.
- A library director, or a staff member designated by the library director, can use the institution login to input and update contact profiles.
- On the CIS login page, use the institution login as the user name with your password to login.
- The CIS login page also provides a link for password reset; the new password will be sent to the library director’s email address.
CRL will treat any information provided by member institutions as strictly confidential and use it for CRL internal purposes only. Information provided will not be shared with other CRL libraries or with any other third parties.
